Last year I went to Martha Pullen's School of Art Fashion for the second time. The previous year I won free tutition for this year so I decided to partake of the fun pre-day classes during this semester. It was so much fun to go and meet other women who enjoy and love sewing as much as I do. I met some really fun women there who I still keep in contact with and we send text messages of our finished projects and updates on our lives. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Yes SOAF cost some money but thus far both years have been totally worth the cost and I am signed up for this July 2013 as well. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I wanted to blog about this fun experience and tell you about the classes I took. So this was one of my pre-day classes I took with Kari Mecca. Now may I just say Kari Mecca is the guru of fun add-ons to simple dresses. She has two books out there Sewing with Whimsy and More Sewing with Whimsy that I bought and LOVE, LOVE and LOVE. She created these whismy sticks that make all the decorating fairly easy. Yes I bought those too and love recreating her stuff in her books for my daughter! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This dress was the first one I completed from the school last year (yes it took me that long but mainly because my store has exploded with customers, hooray!) If truth be told that isn't true I finished one dress at the school but I lost the top of a snap on it and can't find a matching snap here in our few crafting stores :( But this dress I had to finish while my daughter still fit in a size 2 I started it in at the school and here it is:</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghNgFhRQZe3S-VyUQVOaAE043ncMiCSLrTSxqHHU7GDHC5o9Wydjc6WuPQd4T_CCPLLl7cM-BzebCi3y4AV3_LaIJmHPcvRwQZnIvyUdV8Of5WourSQFrwG2IIr30dxc-PSZE3MzMlUxSL/s1600/IMG_4730.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghNgFhRQZe3S-VyUQVOaAE043ncMiCSLrTSxqHHU7GDHC5o9Wydjc6WuPQd4T_CCPLLl7cM-BzebCi3y4AV3_LaIJmHPcvRwQZnIvyUdV8Of5WourSQFrwG2IIr30dxc-PSZE3MzMlUxSL/s320/IMG_4730.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Even she is excited about this dress being completed. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The beading took me FOREVER but was so worth it. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhX0-M7R5TRi4I8warCyV21Kd4Pr-UIOBFd0YjtG5InQdkErpzUhbGNcNI763_z-PW3S3WNoPVPzYjZ6CEBnI5yraNovL0GeucSevpeMTZ-x0vi-PJB3FknXR-hmQFQK8XDkszaIGGKAw6z/s1600/IMG_4733.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhX0-M7R5TRi4I8warCyV21Kd4Pr-UIOBFd0YjtG5InQdkErpzUhbGNcNI763_z-PW3S3WNoPVPzYjZ6CEBnI5yraNovL0GeucSevpeMTZ-x0vi-PJB3FknXR-hmQFQK8XDkszaIGGKAw6z/s320/IMG_4733.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have never been more proud of a dress I have made as this one. I love everything about it. The dress itself was very easy to put together. The fabric is a cotton that is super soft. It is <a href="http://www.westminsterfabrics.com/pub/singlefabric.jsp?designer=Kaffe Fassett&pattern=Floating+Flowers&color=Pastel&image=&collection=Voile&category=0&catname=&newitem=0&new_desc=null" target="_blank">Floating Flowers by Kaffe Fassett</a> for their voile collection sold a while ago by Westminister. The white is Swiss edged 6 in lace. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgymhwJICfqPDEfh_njJJSMU6aQniYCxVuOLGNykCRNjSZfUqwWp4uae6g-xSfFPE1gUvtcX5MC9xTrSr1xwtFD8srWC_Avyxp7zlJyO-BKysCtmRfhVNmxOBkNqvqNtfg0OlN7NYyY0d3B/s1600/IMG_4745.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgymhwJICfqPDEfh_njJJSMU6aQniYCxVuOLGNykCRNjSZfUqwWp4uae6g-xSfFPE1gUvtcX5MC9xTrSr1xwtFD8srWC_Avyxp7zlJyO-BKysCtmRfhVNmxOBkNqvqNtfg0OlN7NYyY0d3B/s320/IMG_4745.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The flowers are made with ribbon using the whimsy sticks and adorning with beads. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh016M43vkzw3-c7TmhDZsWJ0CsPrpP0jRcj3hbIwXUJ1PEFAocy6lzTY4i5vguoHV2O5P05Q2gy4lM6_E8brChm6GMrTOlcwFkYZ6HLEaZ8A61crbNRZxp2oF1yCxF9y71_hdGFusn3tGD/s1600/IMG_4747.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh016M43vkzw3-c7TmhDZsWJ0CsPrpP0jRcj3hbIwXUJ1PEFAocy6lzTY4i5vguoHV2O5P05Q2gy4lM6_E8brChm6GMrTOlcwFkYZ6HLEaZ8A61crbNRZxp2oF1yCxF9y71_hdGFusn3tGD/s320/IMG_4747.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The pink and blue trim along the top is also ribbon loops made using the whimsy sticks. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVmL9BEaIUcP5IxIJz3xCgO8ZDqTh-ueqZ3zJTdVmi2126tMzuyt2zDWoAx2Pg7MF8tQh1hO-iBGYo0nQme2tiIBrHtf-B8tzNFYHVsqS2k9mGbAK9xNjmKMg38vhF1EluGoOc1Zb4rVp5/s1600/IMG_4746.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVmL9BEaIUcP5IxIJz3xCgO8ZDqTh-ueqZ3zJTdVmi2126tMzuyt2zDWoAx2Pg7MF8tQh1hO-iBGYo0nQme2tiIBrHtf-B8tzNFYHVsqS2k9mGbAK9xNjmKMg38vhF1EluGoOc1Zb4rVp5/s320/IMG_4746.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The underskirt and pockets are emblished with royal blue 1 inch (or close to that) velvet ribbon. Everything but the velvet ribbon was hand tacked on. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Before this class I had never done pleating like shown on the sleeves or worked with material like this. The hem was new to me as well. This is one dress I absolutely love but would never sell in my shop as it would be unlikely I would get the return back that would make it worth the amount of time each dress would take. But I can use the velvet and ribbon trim here and there on other outfits to give them more boutique flair! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Enjoy,</div>

It really feels a lot more like a business then a hobby right now! So to celebrate I am having a give-away on my facebook page. I am giving away this beautiful dress designed by <a href="http://www.createkidscouture.com/" target="_blank">Create Kids Couture</a>: <br />
<span id="goog_1623527869"></span><span id="goog_1623527870"><a href="http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/UpToMyKneesInCrafts/180730388622872" target="_blank">Up To My Knees In Crafts Facebook Page</a></span><br />

Make Your Own Sewing Labels<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Sometimes it is tough being a small business owner in a big business world. There are so many things you need to be complaint and linceses you are suppose to have. It can be over-whelming. Although I do buy my business labels for my clothing from <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/MommieMadeIt" target="_blank">Mommie Made It</a> because I am horrible sometimes with picking an image and then making it look good and the right size but if you are good at this or have the good software (I don't) then you can use this same idea for that. I make my own wash and care and size labels to be CPSIA complaint. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3HrnVgMYLnZjTEfUpHEJiBwykAF9pQ8vUv-P2Y40cOb0IXzulA4lnh6h-G6SKunJMsMPASJz026QM4hr4YO_1TcTOb6PSHTvRdR1bfkinRRbNChWtXMG8gPeeKUtKcGLrV-cBQy4Pp9LF/s1600/IMG_4304.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3HrnVgMYLnZjTEfUpHEJiBwykAF9pQ8vUv-P2Y40cOb0IXzulA4lnh6h-G6SKunJMsMPASJz026QM4hr4YO_1TcTOb6PSHTvRdR1bfkinRRbNChWtXMG8gPeeKUtKcGLrV-cBQy4Pp9LF/s320/IMG_4304.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So I got these fabric sheet at Joanns. <a href="http://store.junetailor.com/store/p-15-colorfast-white-sew-in-printer-fabric-10-sheetspack.aspx" target="_blank">June Tailors Sew-in Colorfast Fabric Sheet for Ink Jet Printers</a> . They were $51.99 for 25 but of course I used my 40% off coupon and I just saw them on <a href="http://www.amazon.com/June-Tailor-tailor-colorfast-printers/dp/B003MTUNWQ" target="_blank">Amazon</a> for $31.99 plus shipping </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhX4IcvSVl8xSlvOPEBY7Rr5mtSU-HC0RWVeq-_4fh0OraJ9uit9VjaopN4ueWxyYIo9_JZMcXmYqZu_ln5TF9sMhOaniTsEaMatjPqthi3uCXV2nHCFTkjt2-hOiSVyVXPmM_Iczr5npdi/s1600/IMG_4302.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhX4IcvSVl8xSlvOPEBY7Rr5mtSU-HC0RWVeq-_4fh0OraJ9uit9VjaopN4ueWxyYIo9_JZMcXmYqZu_ln5TF9sMhOaniTsEaMatjPqthi3uCXV2nHCFTkjt2-hOiSVyVXPmM_Iczr5npdi/s320/IMG_4302.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So I used Miscrosoft Word to make my labels. I first put my page setup to landscape and got rid of the header and footers and side margins. Then it asks to fix and I say okay to have the minimum margins. Then I go to format and columns and put in the number of columns I want. For my washing labels I used 8 columns (pictured above) and 15 columns for my size labels (pictured below). </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiq7pooQGj6C6olAZPm-yR5_C17aeqsboqJpo6QFxCgx5brC1uhDD5c2GX8uN8qd8C6T_PpeqmXGeT7XP7PBjDKh2ZTjzlAWTAxnCs5mhN5lgbFlXVjLxvX-gZat3LPXGvTnnPXYsIXKdCC/s1600/IMG_4303.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiq7pooQGj6C6olAZPm-yR5_C17aeqsboqJpo6QFxCgx5brC1uhDD5c2GX8uN8qd8C6T_PpeqmXGeT7XP7PBjDKh2ZTjzlAWTAxnCs5mhN5lgbFlXVjLxvX-gZat3LPXGvTnnPXYsIXKdCC/s320/IMG_4303.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I center my text in the columns and then do a lot of copy and pasting instead of rewriting everything over and over. I usually do one set of words copy and paste until a column is done then copy that column and paste in the consecutive columns until I am finished. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I usually print a test on regular paper to check spacing and that it looks right and I have enough space to sew into my garments. I then print on the fabric sheets.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipoQBctcamL4ibRhECn4yu5Fa_Gq1PW2FdXFw-HqvJgGGi3lDPOvAK9TBxLCAmA1Gy61loKdIYPXiRre_n1v77z5Wlg_NFzv6SOJhZiO2M-emXWkeXozdnglnvw6rNdDwDgKSWtXol_NPw/s1600/IMG_4305.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipoQBctcamL4ibRhECn4yu5Fa_Gq1PW2FdXFw-HqvJgGGi3lDPOvAK9TBxLCAmA1Gy61loKdIYPXiRre_n1v77z5Wlg_NFzv6SOJhZiO2M-emXWkeXozdnglnvw6rNdDwDgKSWtXol_NPw/s320/IMG_4305.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Allow to Dry for 10 minutes and then iron on cotton setting without steam for 1-2 minutes to set ink. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYpONIBsv42ggzxVJ0zIN4SvAhbWeyXrxGeIAfAf8_wnMiAKZ0RjqyB0vUNgDwN2pUgPXdrUJ4-mathBhxexQzM5kdsomqN36MgSJ6C2BEnljczjp_ZLlBH09xhSBYtju4_23UlXmVSYsS/s1600/IMG_4307.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYpONIBsv42ggzxVJ0zIN4SvAhbWeyXrxGeIAfAf8_wnMiAKZ0RjqyB0vUNgDwN2pUgPXdrUJ4-mathBhxexQzM5kdsomqN36MgSJ6C2BEnljczjp_ZLlBH09xhSBYtju4_23UlXmVSYsS/s320/IMG_4307.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I then use my paper cutter to cut out my labels and remove paper backing. I find that whatever they use to allow you to print on the fabric prevents it from fraying as well. Now I have nice labels for my garments.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvOV4guFCY0gS7ApzpeHdqABVfWazGgitcKr-P2-EcH_RnnaNdedgFTBcS5O0ScePWdNvtxF23S3MyANsk98sUKdNGCbZp_WKto2aoYYAfEyjmrC4BA7bLbYJwehAufSCk1VyjBVF6UbXt/s1600/IMG_4308.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvOV4guFCY0gS7ApzpeHdqABVfWazGgitcKr-P2-EcH_RnnaNdedgFTBcS5O0ScePWdNvtxF23S3MyANsk98sUKdNGCbZp_WKto2aoYYAfEyjmrC4BA7bLbYJwehAufSCk1VyjBVF6UbXt/s320/IMG_4308.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
There are lots of different ways to make your own labels and here is a site with multiple ways: <a href="http://craftingagreenworld.com/2009/01/23/5-ways-to-make-your-own-fabric-labels/" target="_blank">http://craftingagreenworld.com/2009/01/23/5-ways-to-make-your-own-fabric-labels/</a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Goodluck in your sewing adventures!!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Do you remember this closet from my <a href="http://uptomykneesincrafts.blogspot.com/2011/10/in-my-corner-also-on-tean-fest-blog.html" target="_blank">In My Corner section</a>? Well I decided that this was too messy and needed a revamp. Especially with all the new bolts of fabric I have been getting in. Yes I said bolts. I started to sell some of the fabric so I opened a shop on etsy to help me as well as give customers knowledge of the fabrics I have in stock. My fabric store is <a href="http://www.uptomykneesinfabric.etsy.com/">www.uptomykneesinfabric.etsy.com</a> . </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjnoam0zrQ5hvz2sf2tz_zo8t622pKICoZo-WRiWUSCcBNPgnf_9zvka-MZ7E-vKa4Wg7F3ScKG3cKRhs9WyKq8OO0HuPLjFKEkFUl6SNQSlM8sloz4bV35OWayA7zWJP2Ukf-Kj4R9kQvL/s1600/IMG_4196.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjnoam0zrQ5hvz2sf2tz_zo8t622pKICoZo-WRiWUSCcBNPgnf_9zvka-MZ7E-vKa4Wg7F3ScKG3cKRhs9WyKq8OO0HuPLjFKEkFUl6SNQSlM8sloz4bV35OWayA7zWJP2Ukf-Kj4R9kQvL/s320/IMG_4196.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So we pulled out these towers and my husband put together the new shelve from ikea (which was on sale hurray). </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuYwi4RcUK2evxxOQdLY1iw6YdPUX4EneYPbjKQIUK5neXzk8sRC8nCjRns2kmGrWpnQSaETytuduh8jZvPKeUUlHaRbcdX_S9bb36-2o9uq1v5m5373M892w-HG0DRFw1Baql9BWAcMOg/s1600/IMG_4226.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuYwi4RcUK2evxxOQdLY1iw6YdPUX4EneYPbjKQIUK5neXzk8sRC8nCjRns2kmGrWpnQSaETytuduh8jZvPKeUUlHaRbcdX_S9bb36-2o9uq1v5m5373M892w-HG0DRFw1Baql9BWAcMOg/s320/IMG_4226.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I then used the <a href="http://smashedpeasandcarrots.blogspot.com/2010/11/mini-fabric-bolts-and-some-studio.html" target="_blank">card board pieces</a> you put in comic book packages (courteousy of my husbands collection and a few more) and wrapped my free standing yardage around all folded. I folded the fabric in thirds while it was folded in the normal half in comes as and then wrapped it instead of the way shown in the above link. And look how neat and organize I look. I also found this blog entry with lots of different ways you can store your fabric <a href="http://www.everythingetsy.com/2012/05/lots-of-fabric-storage-ideas-organize-it/">http://www.everythingetsy.com/2012/05/lots-of-fabric-storage-ideas-organize-it/</a> . </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYeW2IQV4Odxjwsyxk11I2cQr7vuDHow4J0z-JFX4SSO1jGUYxYzLZfkBZdiGyDEUjnRxULH19BkucOXitJFjkkxaYnRq4lo-Jout27jbP0ud-Uwgq_scYTTb5rxQwSMn8BEVNR2LOEbTk/s1600/IMG_4227.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYeW2IQV4Odxjwsyxk11I2cQr7vuDHow4J0z-JFX4SSO1jGUYxYzLZfkBZdiGyDEUjnRxULH19BkucOXitJFjkkxaYnRq4lo-Jout27jbP0ud-Uwgq_scYTTb5rxQwSMn8BEVNR2LOEbTk/s320/IMG_4227.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This tower is pure beauty. Everytime I look at it I sigh. I love how it looks and every piece of fabric is so easy to get to. Now may I just say if you want to do this at home. Don't wait until you have over 100 yards to fold. It took me 3 days to fold all that fabric. Oh and the 100 yards does not include any of those bolts of fabric up there. I also reorganized my kitchen nook and found too many projects unfinished and patterns not put away. It took me a total of two weeks to get reorganized and I have only lived here 10 months. I decided to be much neater and make myself put things away now. It deffinately looks neater. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
These are the perfect towels for your little and not so little ones. My children love the hooded towels after their bath or showers but they don't make them for toddlers/up to 5 year olds. So here's an easy way to make some on your own. (And yes that is my son in a pink towel I wanted the bigger version actually on a bigger kid so just don't tell my husband!) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So what you need is 1 wash cloth and 1 oversize towel. Use the small wash clothes for up to age 2 and the hand towels for older ages. I pictured both. The purple one is for the younger age and the pink is for older. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Cut the wash cloth down keeping the decorative strip if you have one to 8 inches wide. For the older one cut to 10 inches. If you are making this using a hand towel you can actually make two with one hand towel so if you want you can buy two towels and have a spare. These are super quick and it actually took longer for the embroidery then to put these together.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So now if you have an embroidery maching or letter writing on your machine you can add an image or saying to the towel as shown above. You can also totally skipp this step if you want. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Fold your hood rightsides together and sew a 3/8 seam along raw edge (this is the edge you cut to get to the appropiate width). I also serged the edge with my serger. If you do not have a serger you can use a zig-zag stitch along the edge and get similar results in this case.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://img2-llalt.etsystatic.com/il_fullxfull.333585602.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://img2-llalt.etsystatic.com/il_fullxfull.333585602.jpg" width="213" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/98863581/bad-to-the-bones-tie-onesie-with">http://www.etsy.com/listing/98863581/bad-to-the-bones-tie-onesie-with</a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://img2-llalt.etsystatic.com/il_fullxfull.334072674.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="http://img2-llalt.etsystatic.com/il_fullxfull.334072674.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/98999588/dandy-dasmask-tie-onesie-with-suspenders">http://www.etsy.com/listing/98999588/dandy-dasmask-tie-onesie-with-suspenders</a></div>
<br />
I plan on making more and I now have tons of tie and bowtie onesies to start posting in my shop that I have made for craft fairs as well. <br />
<br />
All the ties and bowties are machine embroidered with my machine. This is great since I have a machine but does take skill to keep placement perfect. I got the the<a href="http://www.embroidery-boutique.com/daddys-tie-applique-dadzmuj2.html" target="_blank"> tie</a> and <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/BigDreamsEmbroidery" target="_blank">bowtie </a>embroidery from different stores online and both have been well used. <br />
<br />
Although I must show off some applique ties that I think are just adorable from <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/ACEmbroidery" target="_blank">AC Embroidery</a><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://img0-llalt.etsystatic.com/il_fullxfull.296153728.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://img0-llalt.etsystatic.com/il_fullxfull.296153728.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://img2-llalt.etsystatic.com/il_fullxfull.281546474.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://img2-llalt.etsystatic.com/il_fullxfull.281546474.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://img3-llalt.etsystatic.com/il_fullxfull.296034415.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://img3-llalt.etsystatic.com/il_fullxfull.296034415.jpg" /></a></div>
I got the suspender pattern from<a href="http://www.littlelizardking.com/" target="_blank"> Little Lizard King</a> . It is easy to follow and perfect for even the begginer sewer. It starts at size 3 month and goes to size 10. A great addition to my store and to make matching brother outfits for my girl and baby products. <br />
<br />
Next came the shoes and I love this <a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/89174150/baby-shoe-pattern-slipper" target="_blank">reversible pattern</a> by <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/petitboo" target="_blank">Petit Boo</a> . She gives full illustrated pictures for each step which makes this pattern also good for beginners. The hardest part is keeping your seam allowances around curves. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://img0-llalt.etsystatic.com/il_fullxfull.335765736.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="202" src="http://img0-llalt.etsystatic.com/il_fullxfull.335765736.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I also bought this<a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/89607285/baby-shoe-pattern-classic-mary-janes" target="_blank"> pattern</a> but I haven't made it yet.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://img3-llalt.etsystatic.com/il_fullxfull.300827451.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="http://img3-llalt.etsystatic.com/il_fullxfull.300827451.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Picture from Petit Boo's shop. <a href="http://img3-llalt.etsystatic.com/il_fullxfull.300827451.jpg">http://img3-llalt.etsystatic.com/il_fullxfull.300827451.jpg</a><br />
I love finding new patterns and making beautiful things people love. Thanks to these wonderful people who are willing to sell their patterns so I can just do what I truely love...sew. (I did not recieve anything from any of the above sites to be featured here).<br />
Enjoy, <br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHbQWr07i3pO9QJTfYfHfxrMwngPJLOPjDGBfTuOU0C5uplIphMWYUF2_p0F0pBs6zJUTfgutEVztGYwz16qmTtYs6ebe9asESMUjBVdrNCwmVAxv3x9Z83MscM1Fipu0Et-Q56-QIuCpX/s1600/IMG_3268.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHbQWr07i3pO9QJTfYfHfxrMwngPJLOPjDGBfTuOU0C5uplIphMWYUF2_p0F0pBs6zJUTfgutEVztGYwz16qmTtYs6ebe9asESMUjBVdrNCwmVAxv3x9Z83MscM1Fipu0Et-Q56-QIuCpX/s320/IMG_3268.JPG" width="240" /></a></div><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">It is actually really easy to add a crochet border too. I thought of two ways to do so. First you could add swiss entredeux (pictured here) <img alt="baby entredeux" class="imgborder" height="42" src="http://www.heirloomsewingforchildren.com/images/embroideries/baby-entreduex.jpg" width="130" /> in between the layers and cut off one of the fabric sides on the entredeux then use the holes as your initial chain stitch. Or you can do what I did on this blacket and use a large enough eyed needle to hand stitch with your color yarn around the border with a chain stitch (pictured here) <img class="rg_i" data-src="https://encrypted-tbn3.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTeFkt8H1i6q1WEhJnzRbuauXZZwOOfp24bW-wbvewsHA7LlSSAMg" data-sz="f" height="172" name="kPtn5Oxs4-r5mM:" src="https://encrypted-tbn3.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTeFkt8H1i6q1WEhJnzRbuauXZZwOOfp24bW-wbvewsHA7LlSSAMg" width="183" /> . I made sure I went along the top of the edge and tried to keep the stitches equal in number and size on opposite sides. These chain stitches were used as if they were my initial chains I would have made if I was only hand crocheting. I hope this encourages some new ideas.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Enjoy,</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Barbara</div>Mills Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08239993671382421104noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9102385447192210615.post-23586585271914266402011-11-14T12:29:00.000-08:002011-11-15T05:45:40.482-08:00Crochet Booties by The Lovely CrowNow I have a lot of crochet patterns and have purchased lots as well but I must say <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/ebethalan" target="_blank">The Lovely Crow</a> has the best support and customer service ever. She has videos to help with her patterns and strongly incourages you to contact her if you need any help. I can tell she takes great pride in her patterns and loves what she does and truely wants you to be successful at the art of crocheting though her patterns. I can tell all this without ever even meeting her or talking with her. The patterns and support say it all. I truely enjoyed making these little <a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/86136784/crochet-rainboots-size-newborn" target="_blank">rainboots</a> for my shop and shows. If only I could figure out how to become a tester for wonderful designers such as The Lovely Crow then I would be set. I hope you will enjoy making these for your little ones too.<br />

Simply Summer Sandals it was called and I just knew my little girl had to have a pair made by me.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8lZwOkkX-0gWK6NVLS3wx_38i2zVsKJioxHRwKolUcgFmh45A6CNCo__j9OlQEV-eK8Jb5HDp4k3bZCvU43qRUjLzuN20n6sE4Zn8Pcto_qGbTUi9qbfdNJs0-zEzu9EPfTUgS4r2mpBx/s1600/IMG_3209.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8lZwOkkX-0gWK6NVLS3wx_38i2zVsKJioxHRwKolUcgFmh45A6CNCo__j9OlQEV-eK8Jb5HDp4k3bZCvU43qRUjLzuN20n6sE4Zn8Pcto_qGbTUi9qbfdNJs0-zEzu9EPfTUgS4r2mpBx/s320/IMG_3209.JPG" width="240" /></a></div><br />

Of course it doesn't hurt that I can sell them in my shop and at fairs either (<a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/uptomykneesincrafts" target="_blank">Up To My Knees In Crafts</a> if you are interested). I have to say though the patterns are very well made too. Easy to understand and great pictures help me to rave about this pattern. It is always nice to see a great idea with well made instructions. So if you are a baby crochetaholic I have to say this is a must have pattern. <br />
How to add the beads are not included in the pattern that was just a little something I had to add for a special touch, set me apart so to speak. <br />
Enjoy,<br />

Using these crochet headbands make it even easier.<br />
<img alt="Item image" i="i" src="http://thumbs2.ebaystatic.com/m/mxAM0EfnO_Hf1vYqWISYk7A/140.jpg" /><br />
Use them instead of elastic when working for girls with chest or waist sizes 24in or smaller. It allows for you to not have the rough feel of the tulle on your little ones body. It also makes a prefect top band to a tutu dress. It is easy to tie the tulle to the sections of the crochet headband as shown. <br />
<img alt="" border="0" height="240" src="http://www.onethousandtutus.com/images/tutu2.jpg" style="text-align: right;" width="199" /><br />
<br />
Add some flowers and other beautiful things and you can have this:<br />

But atleast I broke even in the cost of the fair to sales. So sad. I put these in my shop on etsy to try and sell before Halloween. I am kind-of hoping the smallest one will stay so I can just have my daughter wear it b/c I love them. <br />

I am Barbara from <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Up To My Knees in Crafts </i>and I figured since I did this article for my team blog I could use it to start off my rededication <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> to my blog</span>.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
Since we just moved into our new house my space is much neater then it would be during (I was going to say the holidays but lets face it) any other time.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>My creative area takes up what would have been a kitchen nook in a home that didn’t have a crafter in it. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjj2D2uWD7sSEMsJLi6tZGkG-M49f_c-OsJrUIEhRhdpPxrEZqwZu7X484zObitNqyhRLIqMfXLJlLWnnFQu5OeRk39YGddCFDHAWeIfmF3IoYAb2kUd7UPVf54R9z-hkENTrjO8EEx-5Vx/s1600/IMG_3066.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjj2D2uWD7sSEMsJLi6tZGkG-M49f_c-OsJrUIEhRhdpPxrEZqwZu7X484zObitNqyhRLIqMfXLJlLWnnFQu5OeRk39YGddCFDHAWeIfmF3IoYAb2kUd7UPVf54R9z-hkENTrjO8EEx-5Vx/s320/IMG_3066.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
</div>
I took over the computer desk for my sewing machines for two reasons. 1. I can’t afford the $2,500 sewing desk I really want yet.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>2. I have a wonderful almost 3 year old boy who thinks my machines are the best toys in the world (not so good for business).<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The roll down top locks it was perfect, too bad our computer now occupies a linen table top. All well, sacrifices had to be made. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiv2O1weCsPtSql52bJzU4sTUELmLS4fXyNS-P0711P-ADb3T2AKPmmg0sivviWE9DtDe1ou6a1rQrqixYhCQ497RlWBRwhJ3A1OPa-lWpWjTzBZEEqmaYcjUTYYqhcDXeV1pwfWmp7W18T/s1600/IMG_3063.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiv2O1weCsPtSql52bJzU4sTUELmLS4fXyNS-P0711P-ADb3T2AKPmmg0sivviWE9DtDe1ou6a1rQrqixYhCQ497RlWBRwhJ3A1OPa-lWpWjTzBZEEqmaYcjUTYYqhcDXeV1pwfWmp7W18T/s320/IMG_3063.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
I started with quilts and then went to Joann’s and got a pattern. And now I have….well you can see…. tons of patterns and books. Most of my inspiration comes from the magazine <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Sew Beautiful.</i> I love it but it gives me way too many projects to want to do. Now I have a list that looks like something Santa checks off but I keep it in this notebook oh and these binders….</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtkwGY5jR3u-M7N7riwrSrjwmu_kN1dFYsgTz0Ot6xHuIatrX3AU-JGWrAbMkNVGy0BIO0vn72V6rEOXXGmEGA2nHTVLklLJLAr4mR2ioslx4CrXKdNrGsS_XoIvdXB-JNxvxoo89QZ7_T/s1600/IMG_3064.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtkwGY5jR3u-M7N7riwrSrjwmu_kN1dFYsgTz0Ot6xHuIatrX3AU-JGWrAbMkNVGy0BIO0vn72V6rEOXXGmEGA2nHTVLklLJLAr4mR2ioslx4CrXKdNrGsS_XoIvdXB-JNxvxoo89QZ7_T/s320/IMG_3064.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
Well you get the picture. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
So my first thought when asked what the one thing I can not live without is was my sewing machines.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>A no brainer I know (I mean I do lock them up).<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEip5LwAxGsaohr8onUR05qVDxLMdxeHIDORAZO1hcsDS9k90RtP4jRAk9td-aUL4jz3AH_ah5h_T5z0e6emWVtnhBWhhRY8EyItDJ0dEtbFBoM1McE7yhvorj_squKxjoUEQ0jaQDHqW0KU/s1600/IMG_3075.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEip5LwAxGsaohr8onUR05qVDxLMdxeHIDORAZO1hcsDS9k90RtP4jRAk9td-aUL4jz3AH_ah5h_T5z0e6emWVtnhBWhhRY8EyItDJ0dEtbFBoM1McE7yhvorj_squKxjoUEQ0jaQDHqW0KU/s320/IMG_3075.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
But as a sewer a seam ripper is a close second as well as a little stash of candy. Don’t worry no fabric is harmed during my secret binges.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNSyWr-83DGAUAIAaBCGlxlj35s2SE6kxEN_SwZazbTWVaAfAB_QbsmtJZxiiWjXzOu9XbX65KNsgf8CDWKH8OoMLMboFrviGAZW0tQf5E0m98f5C2fU5aitDX45Xmw1UKcqyoNQUwwfWt/s1600/IMG_3068.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNSyWr-83DGAUAIAaBCGlxlj35s2SE6kxEN_SwZazbTWVaAfAB_QbsmtJZxiiWjXzOu9XbX65KNsgf8CDWKH8OoMLMboFrviGAZW0tQf5E0m98f5C2fU5aitDX45Xmw1UKcqyoNQUwwfWt/s320/IMG_3068.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
So, not all my craft stuff actually fits into this nook so I had to take over a closet in my daughter’s bedroom. </div>
<br />
Again a sacrifice a family member makes to feed the addiction of another (me but at least I squeezed it in so that it was only one closet).<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><br />
<br />
There are a few things missing from my space (like décor but they will go up soon) but I would like to share one last thing and that is a little storage tip.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Pictured here is an odd and ends storage container that I got from home depot. It didn’t cost much (maybe $15) and it is perfect for all the buttons, brads and other little items that I use for projects.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>By no means is it a thing of beauty but as my décor goes up I believe this baby can be painted and/or covered with paper and will fit just fine. <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJDKHZb1IUEumMyuKzPs0KAsGn0o9oR55W4Fyw7SotfinFBsZ2XtENgYIKs_FrF_2mAcQmdhGw93mJjvfpSmWd5oI7F6EFTPgpyuAbXYL96euLoRTHtOZBHujSKPweJB7I3jDrCOo-K-oE/s1600/IMG_3072.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJDKHZb1IUEumMyuKzPs0KAsGn0o9oR55W4Fyw7SotfinFBsZ2XtENgYIKs_FrF_2mAcQmdhGw93mJjvfpSmWd5oI7F6EFTPgpyuAbXYL96euLoRTHtOZBHujSKPweJB7I3jDrCOo-K-oE/s320/IMG_3072.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I also had a craft table which sits quietly behind the bookcase:</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I finished one testimony book: <br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Here is me putting the paper on the cover:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPKsqQvOlvz53tKJWkBU0kvHGlbJTUTkBEeWSXB_Pwwrbx7_UmAHO9IExnKVuJPsBgsS0UZM7ZFUzBueQOVxLb7XmcDHe-pMcChezYTwH8YWdBdFvJ0yfA4lPPoBw3oyKY1JrrPObs2Ocg/s1600-h/001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPKsqQvOlvz53tKJWkBU0kvHGlbJTUTkBEeWSXB_Pwwrbx7_UmAHO9IExnKVuJPsBgsS0UZM7ZFUzBueQOVxLb7XmcDHe-pMcChezYTwH8YWdBdFvJ0yfA4lPPoBw3oyKY1JrrPObs2Ocg/s320/001.JPG" vt="true" /></a></div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><br />
<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">The gluing process continued:</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />

</div><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">The printed inside which I put together by sewing the middle (by hand like old binding is done):</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />

</div><br />
<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Here is the book completed but still drying hence the scrap pieces of paper in the cover. So only 6 more to go. I got the instructions from Martha Stewart’s web page. Google how to bind a book and you should find it. :</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Then I needed to get a sample napkin done for a customer and now I have my fingers crossed that she’ll pick me to do the whole order.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi58EEwPi_3xc9_bU3UOOqWep2mMz7M7lL6o5WdgEThBKTLFNyLuxTVvr_8DnRLa-qxsISaeTnV-5ac8itPoTZaiiFoFwCCUnXvuZD9wu-UbUvo1vZZ27y8Ia9ZF7J2RMojN1PaXShFupgR/s1600-h/010.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi58EEwPi_3xc9_bU3UOOqWep2mMz7M7lL6o5WdgEThBKTLFNyLuxTVvr_8DnRLa-qxsISaeTnV-5ac8itPoTZaiiFoFwCCUnXvuZD9wu-UbUvo1vZZ27y8Ia9ZF7J2RMojN1PaXShFupgR/s320/010.JPG" vt="true" /></a></div><br />

Where do I get the time you may ask, I don’t know maybe my son doesn’t actually sleep as long as it takes me to do all this. It took me about 8 hours and she picked the colors and pattern. It was fun to go hang out with her at Joann's and to see her face light up when she saw it done. She is suppose to send me or post pictures on her blog of her all done up for the event so I'll add pictures or a link when I get it. Meanwhile here it is on the hanger:</div><div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIz-UqRVkkqM__x1F6x_eaaMz8DtKRlE58SOixtSfNxtU-Sv0MYCB6ewElTv6ki3YCYjkm9cPGHfhbaNf5YAmXwCMwp_SlLtJx-vXjBna-pVqZPVzOvjSbfH4AwSOy1UWrxyp8uw-LoTvv/s1600-h/001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIz-UqRVkkqM__x1F6x_eaaMz8DtKRlE58SOixtSfNxtU-Sv0MYCB6ewElTv6ki3YCYjkm9cPGHfhbaNf5YAmXwCMwp_SlLtJx-vXjBna-pVqZPVzOvjSbfH4AwSOy1UWrxyp8uw-LoTvv/s320/001.JPG" vt="true" /></a></div>Mills Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08239993671382421104noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9102385447192210615.post-24591162688583348002010-03-19T17:22:00.000-07:002010-03-19T17:22:37.520-07:00My "Mane" Man<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijLlW8V6qoSMihaPDlibrHalJWVcqCvhLopTCTEYVrz5mApqtwPbypFf0kkJNsR7ijqonHRmCfnqPsn6x1UTrw3-U_IsL-W6LJxCu18mV-KGLJVz6V84AAyD9h3w1AmApOBTZHAYrcyNu7/s1600-h/004.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijLlW8V6qoSMihaPDlibrHalJWVcqCvhLopTCTEYVrz5mApqtwPbypFf0kkJNsR7ijqonHRmCfnqPsn6x1UTrw3-U_IsL-W6LJxCu18mV-KGLJVz6V84AAyD9h3w1AmApOBTZHAYrcyNu7/s320/004.JPG" vt="true" /></a></div>I did this for Justin with my embroidery machine.
